Bridges of Hope Mentoring Program

This is a weekly impact group beginning in September. The Bridges of Hope Mentoring Program exists to serve families in designated New Haven housing developments by providing the youth a safe environment for homework, enrichment, and supportive relationships with Christian mentors. Specifically, for the teens, we seek to build them up in six areas: skills, character, health, spiritual life, broadening perspective and giving back. The program runs every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5pm-7pm at a local New Haven school. Volunteers can choose the day they wish to serve and will be paired with one student in either the youth bracket (K-6) or Teen bracket (7-12) depending on preference.
